We have arrived

So...finally after a jeep ride to the airport at 4:00 am, tackling the toronto airport, flying for 3 hours to Miami, waiting two hours for our connecting flight to St. Thomas, taking a taxi to Red hook to the ferry, taking a ferry to ***sigh** St. John....we arrive in Paradise at 4:30, grab 2 corona's, our jeep for the next 2 weeks and we are off! Can you think of any other better way to spend 12 hours?

And....here it is!!! Great Cruz bay.....The view from our deck at our villa. More pictures later. This breathtaking view is something you would die to wake up to every morning of your life.


And here it is...Great Cruz Bay at night. If you could only hear the sounds of the crickets, tree frogs, tropical birds, bats, some other sounds you have no idea and probably don't want to know and one lonely crab in a bucket wishing he could get out!

After all those hours of traveling in 86 degree weather, this pool looked way too inviting. Kailey and Rob changed into bathing suits....how lame!

I, on the other hand just jumped in clothes and all! That's the way to start a vacation!

Ok, so maybe jumping in the pool with all my clothes on and not emptying my pockets was not the brightest idea! My poor ipod took a swim too! I am drying it out, hoping it might have a spark of life left. If not...off i go shopping to St. Thomas.
