The day after Omar

We were so happy to see morning break and Omar gone! He did not hit as hard as they had thought, thank goodness! It's such a pretty island, and we'd like to keep it that way!!!! We did see some trees down, uprooted and lots of water running onto the road from the mountains. Poor Cinnamon bay looks a mess and really rough and brown! ewe!!!

Great Cruz bay the morning after
We usually see the iguana's in the trees but today lots were on the ground! Kailey thought it was cool!
Kailey spent the morning and some of the afternoon playing football and water volleyball with Sierra and her family. They were great fun! Kailey had a blast with them!!!!

Kailey picking up some of the palm leaves that were ripped off during the storm. She did not realize just how heavy they are!

Kailey standing with the very large tree that was ripped out of the ground. Apparently this tree has survived 4 major hurricanes...but not this one!

The road had lots of water running on them. This is a waterfall from a runoff of the road!

A Visit to Cinnamon Bay to see what damage there is.....

Hey, the donkey's survived!!!!

And that folks is the end of our day!
