The day is coming near that we MUST and i don't want to return to Canada. Land of the snow, sleet, hail, rain and anything else that Mother nature can throw at us for the next 10 months! I certainly can see myself just staying on the island and enjoying the easy life. Not that life is easy anywhere, i guess i mean less complicated and less materialistic! I find the people here so friendly and helpful! When was the last time you walked down the street or were driving in your car and complete strangers say hello, or waves or tell you to have a good day? I don't think that happens in everyday America anymore! We are feeling so at home here and like such island people that we became tour guides for a couple honeymooning from Oklaholma! So we are sitting on the beach and this couple beside us, Sara and Wes, nice couple honeymooning in St. Thomas. They hopped the ferry over to St. John to see what the island was like. Well, we got to talking to them, and they had no transportation and had no idea what St. John is like. So we offered to take them around the island. WOW, have we learned allot! Between Rob and I, they have a very good picture of paradise! We took them from one end of the island to the other. And took them to Skinny legs to eat and drink, yea, they like the place, they like the feel, they like the locals, they like the island!!!
I sure doesn't seem like we did much today but we toured the whole island! Went shopping at Mongoose Junction ....came home and CRASHED! Being a tour guide is hard work!!!
